How much does a scissor truss cost?
Scissor trusses follow our standard price list: from $1,500 for spans up to 20 ft, then $100–$250 per foot of span for larger trusses. Your exact quote should fall within the range for your span, depending on the options you select and structural requirements. Delivery is not included.
Can a scissor truss be structural?
Yes. Scissor trusses can be decorative or load-bearing. Structural trusses are built to engineer-approved drawings, and we provide stamped drawings for all 50 states.
Which wood species can I choose?
Southern yellow pine, Douglas Fir, cedar, cypress, oak, pine, spruce and reclaimed timbers, among others, in finishes from planed and sanded to hand-hewn.
